This policy explains how Aphelon (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website, browse our shop on Facebook or Instagram, or place an order. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, and we handle it in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the shop and fulfil your order:
- Contact & identity: name, email address, phone number.
- Order & delivery: delivery and billing address, items ordered, order history.
- Payment: handled by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, chat or social media.
- Technical & usage: IP address, device and browser information, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that help us run the shop:
- Suppliers and fulfilment partners. We operate a dropshipping model: some orders are shipped directly by third-party suppliers. To do this we share your name, delivery address and order details with the relevant supplier and courier. Some suppliers are located outside the UK.
- Payment providers to process your payment securely.
- Couriers and delivery services to ship your order and provide tracking.
- Platforms and advertising partners such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, where you interact with our shop or ads.
- Service providers for hosting, analytics and customer support.
- Authorities where we are required to by law.
4. International transfers
Because some suppliers and service providers are based outside the UK, your data may be transferred abroad. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to keep it protected.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure traffic and — with your consent — show you relevant ads. This includes tools such as the Meta pixel and analytics services. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and transaction records are kept for up to 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting rules. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
10. Children
Our shop is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Please check back occasionally.
